Volunteering

Volunteers needed for the upcoming 2025 Drive!  Here’s are some ways to help:

• • Do you have a relationship with a daycare, preschool, or elementary school?  If so, please ask them if you can put out a collection box (we can provide you with a flyer for the box) and ask them to alert families to this opportunity to help.  Families often have leftover diapers to donate and having a box in these locations makes it easy for them to contribute. 

• • Do you have a porch or similarly covered area where people could drop diapers?  If so, put out a box and let your network know they can drop diapers off to you.  

• • Do you work in an office?  Put a box out in a convenient spot and ask your co-workers to support the Drive.
  • Are you short on time?  Share the links to the registries with your network on social media and ask them to make a contribution.

• • If you collect diapers, please pick them up at the end of the Drive and deliver them to Somerville’s WIC office.
